Umoja Journey
Africa 2022

July 19 – August 7, 2022

Overview

The Umoja Journey is an adventure with purpose that will remain with you for the rest of your life. After you say ‘yes’ to this challenge, the most difficult part of the process will be over, and the fun and excitement can begin. The Umoja Journey is a guided trip across Africa. Guests will be travelling in a convoy of Land Rovers, with 4-5 people in each vehicle. The tour takes you on an adventure through Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa and highlights the work of International Needs.

Objectives

To give a glimpse into the development projects in Kenya and Zambia, to provide funding for the projects guests will be visiting, and to invite you to share your expertise and insight with our development partners.

Cost

The cost of the journey is $20,000 per person (+$5,000 for the optional add on trip), some of which may be processed as a charitable donation toward the work of International Needs, if your country of residence permits deductions of this nature. Your donation will cover all travel costs of the trip, as well as funding for the development projects.

Options

The base trip will be July 19 – 30, 2022. This includes travel to Kenya, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. The optional add on at the end will be July 30 – August 7, 2022. This includes travel from Zimbabwe to South Africa.
